tudor times
i was watching a documentory history program the other day about the tudors, and wondered if anyone has managed to trace their family history back to tudor times? i'm only back to the 1800s at the moment, so i've got a long way to go to get there!

RE: tudor times
Haven't traced it back that far yet! I enjoy finding out about Tudor times though - the BBC series was quite good, even though it probably wasn't historically accurate! Hopefully I'll be able to trace my family back that far eventually.

RE: tudor times
I have traced my paternal direct line back to c1530.
They were peasants living at Bletchley in Buckinghamshire.
All those generations and not much changes, I'm still a peasant.

Enjoy what freedoms you have left before they're gone
